I’ve been more active lately on 99designs site.
After a few months of complete inactivity, I almost had a “cold turkey” (abstinence crisis), in terms of designing, of course. And as a result of that, as I worked as a lunatic – I’ve won some logo contests (and naturally, additional work followed).
Took the chance to ask for some recommendations  (which can be seen here on LinkedIn) and added them to the “Testimonials” section here, too.

Still have some more projects to finish, and then… vacation time. :)

Updated the logo section here, finally (almost 6 months since the last update).
After the first 2 months in 2010 completely occupied with work, and the pause afterwards, I could really use some new clients now. :)

And I don’t complain.
Being a freelancer gives you one advantage, you can’t experience while working as a part of a creative team. It’s about valuing your clients. Of course, there are always some of them like the ones here > http://clientsfromhell.tumblr.com/ :) But they are valuable as well – they give you a chance to appreciate your “good” ones.
I don’t have time to write a tractate now (since it’s 2AM), but – thank you, my dear clients.
All of you. :)

Oh yes, I did…

…update my web, as I promised :)
The update took a while, ’cause I had to dig out lots of stuff burried on my hard disk. I added some designs to “Misc” and “Print” categories as well.
But now – the logo category has 5 pages, and I was told that this is like a goldmine for many rip-offs. I, personally, wouldn’t suggest you do this, ’cause I’m pretty tough about it. However, if any of you might like and try to (re)use any of the designs published here, feel free to contact me and we can then arrange a deal. I could really use a new car. LOL.

Promises…

I promise I will update my website soon.

I started just a few secs ago by adding a new weekly quote. A quote by me. LOL. :)

Now, seriously – my latest blog post was in May. Shame on me.

Since then, I’ve got lots of new clients, and some of them contacted me via this webpage. And I also have a link to here in my e-mail signature. Blame me, I’m guilty. There’s a saying here in Croatia, that the shoemaker always has the worst shoes. It can also be applied to this situation. Being so busy and having no time to update. And made soooooo many logos, a few web-page designs, some posters, some stationery… And nothing shown here. Yet.

I have to add “testimonials” category, too…

I promise I will update my web soon.

I promise I will eat more vegetables.

I promise I will have lunch earlier than midnight.

I promise I will not scare my cats.

I promise I will be a good girl.
